The return to Tbilisi was long and tedious, with lines at the border quite longer than on the way down. No time therefore to explore the city as we had been anticipating. We had to get up at 2AM for a 4:55 flight, so we tried to hit the sack early.
Once we were back in Munich, Eric and I split up. He was returning home to start work in a couple of days, and I would continue the trip, by car down to Italy.
It wasn’t long before exhaustion caught up with me again, this time paired up with a fresh cold I had picked up somewhere in transit. I decided to stop for the night (around 2 in the afternoon), in a town I found to be quite attractive, Wangen im Allgäu.

I have been to Germany many times, and I have always enjoyed it here, especially Bavaria. The country is clean, organized and attractive, and the food is generally good. Of course, despite not feeling my best I couldn’t resist going out to explore, and what a beautiful place I happened upon. I will continue to let the pictures tell the story.

For dinner I had a yummy pizza, then finally, a decent night’s sleep.

Bis Morgen. Until tomorrow. Ciao.

What a charming town! and ice cubes in your cola..... lucky man.
