We spent the morning chasing money at Western Union offices, as far as Wanda, a town 51 kilometers away, then we had a terrific, albeit sweaty afternoon at Iguazu Falls. We met several nice people, enjoyed the local fauna, got soaked, and walked three days’ worth.

Well, what’s there to say about a place that is a UNESCO world heritage site, that is the pride of three nations, that hasn’t already been said. Eleonor Roosevelt when she first saw Iguazu said: “My poor Niagara!”. Fact is that Iguazu and Niagara falls are immensely different. In Niagara you have 4 falls, in Iguazu there are 248. At Niagara, the falls are concentrated, here they stretch for miles through the surrounding tropical forest. Some are simply amazing, others simple and small, most are very tall and difficult to capture in their entirety, either vertically or horizontally.
